About the VIKING brand
VIKING belongs to the group CONTINENTAL. The tyres' brand VIKING was created in 1931 in Norway. The company was then called VIKING ASKIM A / S. The company manufactured rubber products before specializing in tyres for automobiles in 1970. VIKING represents more than 50% market share in Norway and their tyres are equipped in the manufacturing of Volkswagen, Opel, Ford, Volvo cars. In 1983, VIKING become international and it started to develop in the European and American market. In 2008, Viking sold more than 1 million tyres. VIKING's expertise focuses primarily on summer and winter tyres for passenger vehicles.
